JOIN US ON THE JOURNEY OF IMPROVING ISCHEMIC STROKE CARE
VISION
Our goal is to become a leader in the field of ischemic stroke by developing innovative clot retrieval solutions. We envision a world where stroke is no longer a leading cause of death and disability. We aim to achieve that by challenging traditional methods and improving mechanical thrombectomy outcomes. We believe that through our commitment to research and development, we can continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in stroke care and be the clear choice for physicians in the pursuit of saving lives.
MISSION
Our mission is to develop and commercialize various clot-retrieving devices for treating ischemic stroke. We are driven by innovative and out-of-the-box thinking in our research and development process to achieve the impossible. We are committed to prioritizing the needs of patients and neurosurgeons in all that we do. We strive to be the first choice of the neurosurgeon in mechanical thrombectomy procedures and help him reduce mortality and disability rates due to ischemic stroke.
OUR STORY
The story behind Inretio's technology began when the company's CEO, Raviv, lost a family member to an ischemic stroke. Determined to understand how the thrombectomy resulted in his relative's death, Raviv was introduced to the concept of embolization.
While others believed bypassing a clot was impossible, Raviv was determined to create a solution by developing a protective basket that could be placed distally to the clot to prevent clot fragments from moving downstream. With his background in engineering, Raviv had the skills and resources to invent and develop his idea. Thanks to his lack of experience in the medical device field, Raviv was free of prejudice and, so, free to invent a genuinely novel concept for clot retrieval naively.
Today, Inretio operates a small manufacturing facility that produces clot retrieval solutions based on these innovative technologies. The company is rapidly growing and is close to achieving its first-in-human milestone.
